Three British Golden Angels Greet Benedict XVI – Beatified Cardinal Newman - GAY SAINT… September 2010 – As Benedict XVI Orchestrated … REACTION FORMATION???

The spectacular (Las Vegas like) greeting by three young muscular male British “Chippendalest” Golden Angels brilliantly orchestrated (?) by Benedict XVI and his staff to highlighted the Beatification of the gay Cardinal Newman - the cost - priceless. How?

It has always been puzzling why Benedict XVI always manages to make major public statements against “gay civil rights”, “gay equality” or “gay marriage” before major Christian holidays, like Christmas 2008, his trip to Portugal, and his latest to Britain. Why? Benedict XVI public statements against gays have been constant and consistent, as regular as breathing and a heart beating. It appears to be the complex defense mechanism – reaction formation – (simply put is displaying the opposite feeling felt to defend against anxiety) and the dissociative process of a closeted gay male (Dissociative Processes - Harry Stack Sullivan “Clinical Studies on Psychiatry”). How would a Pope who wanted a very passionate gay (LGBT) community to be upfront and a major part of any festivities, on major holidays, or papal visits - orchestrate it without anyone knowing? After five years becoming Benedict XVI 2005, his track record against gays is vividly documented for history in all the forms of news media. This observation is too blatantly obvious to ignore – for the sake of the safety and well-being of children. To help stop - the lifetime harm caused to children, the teenage suicides and the violence against innocent adults that has been fueled by Benedict XVI’s past 30 years of making unsubstantiated personal statements against homosexuals and sexual orientation – void of any scientific or biblical documentation. The Emperor's New Clothes - By: Hans Christian Andersen

Without knowing it Benedict XVI has brought together and united globally more religious leaders, clergy, ministers, faith groups, leaders of governments, politicians, scientists, medical and mental health associations, organizations and professionals, LGBTQ&I groups, organizations, individuals and allies for one common cause - that we together bring out all that is true and good and loving about the diversity of human sexuality, such as sexual orientation, gender identity and intersex, the uniqueness and an importance of each and every individual, including supporting gay marriage.

This could very well be considered another miracle of Cardinal John Henry Newman who was beatified in his beloved country by Benedict XVI – flanked by beautiful muscular gay angels. Now there is a picture perfect holy card.

Gay marriage -> Restoring "Hope of Love" To Children In Early Childhood -> Marriage Equality – March 23, 2010 – Fr. Marty Kurylowicz
Marriage Equality, like Galileo, is the truth about the facts of growing up gay. Marriage Equality will not become a reality until people learn that its most vital purpose is that it restores the “hope of love” to children in early childhood – essential to their development and well-being for life. Without Marriage Equality we teach children how to hate love and how to be mean and indifferent to people as adults. With all due respect, without Marriage Equality we would teach them in much the same way as has been shown by Benedict XVI and the hierarchy, especially in their lack of care and protection of children for decades.

Reaction formation depends on the hypothesis that
"[t]he instincts and their derivatives may be arranged as pairs of opposites: life versus death, construction versus destruction, action versus passivity, dominance versus submission, and so forth. When one of the instincts produces anxiety by exerting pressure on the ego either directly or by way of the superego, the ego may try to sidetrack the offending impulse by concentrating upon its opposite. For example, if feelings of hate towards another person make one anxious, the ego can facilitate the flow of love to conceal the hostility."[3]

Where reaction-formation takes place, it is usually assumed that the original, rejected impulse does not vanish, but persists, unconscious, in its original infantile form.[2] Thus, where love is experienced as a reaction formation against hate, we cannot say that love is substituted for hate, because the original aggressive feelings still exist underneath the affectionate exterior that merely masks the hate to hide it from awareness.[3]

In a diagnostic setting, the existence of a reaction-formation rather than a 'simple' emotion would be suspected where exaggeration, compulsiveness and inflexibility were observed. For example,

"[r]eactive love protests too much; it is overdone, extravagant, showy, and affected. It is counterfeit, and [...] is usually easily detected. Another feature of a reaction formation is its compulsiveness. A person who is defending himself against anxiety cannot deviate from expressing the opposite of what he really feels. His love, for instance, is not flexible. It cannot adapt itself to changing circumstances as genuine emotions do; rather it must be constantly on display as if any failure to exhibit it would cause the contrary feeling to come to the surface.[3]

Reaction formation reduces anxiety by taking up the opposite feeling, impulse or behavior. An example of reaction formation would be treating someone you strongly dislike in an excessively friendly manner in order to hide your true feelings. Why do people behave this way? According to Freud, they are using reaction formation as a defense mechanism to hide their true feelings by behaving in the exact opposite manner. By Kendra Cherry, About.com Guide

Important note: No disrespect meant to Pope Benedict XVI or the hierarchy, the one and only concern is the safety and well-being of children.
