How can any two people in love ever be a threat to the ‘fabric of society’? How can any two people in love who want to build a life together, raise a family be a threat to anyone? We are talking about incorporating all the biblical references into the meaning of love. How can any two people who want to live a committed life together built on the powerful biblical meaning of love be a threat, in particular to children? How can children raised in a social environment of love be harmed?

I agree with your statement that discussion [by anti-gay people] tends to be limited a statement that the bible condemns homosexuality. While the Bible does prohibit sex between men (homosexuality), it can nevertheless be shown that the prohibition does not apply today when the sexual activity causes no harm. Also the prohibition does not apply today because it applied only to the ancient Israelite and Roman cultures. The Bible criticizes, but does not prohibit, sex between women.
