New Research Offers Answers to Tough Questions For Families with Gay or Transgender Youth
Many parents feel conflicted when they learn their child is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. New research by the Family Acceptance Project (FAP) shows families how to support their GLBT children in ways that will increase their self-esteem and lower their risk for suicide, drug abuse and HIV.
Dr. Caitlyn Ryan, Director of the FAP, will share ground breaking research that demonstrates the dramatic impact families have on the physical and mental health of their gay and transgender children.
