Flagrant Disregard For All Of Humanity – Being Publicly Demonstrated by Benedict XVI and hierarchy - Failure to Accept Responsibility for Decades of Child Sexual Abuse Cover-ups

... This is a critical time to put out valid information about human sexuality, to be the voice of sanity and clarity and not allow misinformation about sexual orientation to be associated falsely with the child sexual abuse cases and cover-ups that are overwhelming the Church at the highest level right now.  It is possible that campaigns against Marriage Equality have been a vehicle to convey certain people into political office as well as to maintain cover-ups in the Church hierarchy regarding decades of child sexual abuse.

If people do not get valid information now, they will easily absorb wrong information and go into hysteria that could be damaging to LGBT issues on all levels.  It is vital to continue daily monitoring of press releases of Benedict XVI and the hierarchy so that they will not use false information that would be harmful to the LGBT community.  Correct information has to be accessible to the public to answer important questions on demand, to keep rumors and hysteria from taking hold, along with discriminatory remarks feeding antigay belief systems.  We need to prevent people from rushing to the conclusion that LGBT people are responsible for abuse and other kinds of turmoil in society.  We have to keep monitoring the news every day and providing information that is documented, accurate, and scholarly. Read more - by Fr. Protect children and the entire world will be safe.
