In 1997, I came out for the protection of children, as young as 4 and 5 years of age, from the lifetime harmful effects - directly caused by the influence of the unsubstantiated antigay social and religious norms. The past 30 years - of the fierce fortified preservation of the Vatican’s unsubstantiated teachings on homosexuality is an obsessive and unconscious reenactment of Pope Benedict’s early childhood years - traumatized by the Nazis dehumanizing homosexuality publicly to create an effective scapegoat - to silence and remove Catholic clergy openly opposing the Nazi radical policy. The obsessive public demonizing gay adult pornography by the majority of the Roman Catholic members of the curia and hierarchy - is a again - an identical repeat of the Nazis public dehumanization homosexuals to maintain an effective scapegoat to keep the public distracted from their racial polices - as it is to continue the escalation of corporate greed of globalization.
As Catholic priests - we do not enable public hysteria against gay people, including gay adult pornography - we educate them, by first educating ourselves.

The Nazis were far more publicly dehumanizing of the Jewish people, however, Benedict did not become obsessive-compulsive in mistreating Jewish people. Why homosexuals?
What is of crucial importance here is to note - that Benedict’s obsessive-compulsive mistreatment of homosexuals - was and has remained the unconscious reenactments of the perspective of a traumatized - 6 year old child - that has been frozen in time, of the Nazis pervasive public dehumanization tactics made against homosexuals lasting for several years. Intense Negative Reactions
Benedict’s intense negative reactions towards homosexuals that followed after his post-traumatic reaction in 1968, clearly defines an existing pattern that has been observed by the midterm report of the Synod 2014 “Welcoming gay people” and the US Supreme Court 2015 legalization of Gay Marriage. First, there is an immediate intense negative reaction. Second, there is a complete absence of any validating authoritative evidence to support the intensity of the negative reaction, except for demeaning remarks made against gay people. Third, there is firm commitment to continue fighting against gay marriage or accepting gay people. It is this antigay obsession that is exhaustive and tends to be debilitating in the person’s reaching his or her fullest potential in life. The third, point is also how antigay violence is increased and perpetuated from generation to generation.
In Benedict’s case we can see the lifelong harmful effects caused to, a brilliant theologian, a beloved friend, professor, colleague, and the like. What would his life had been like had he never experienced the dehumanizing effects growing up in Nazi Germany? How would the world be different - not only minus the his obsessive antigay crusade, but how much more would he have been able to have added - unimpeded by the lifelong post-traumatic effects of the past? Now, try to imagine the difference in the world - over the same period of time 1927 - 2015 - of the same type of restoration to 90% of the world population human potential had the unsubstantiated antigay social and religious norms never existed.
In brief, the willful suppression of a child’s homosexual sexual orientation is a traumatic experience for the child that is repeated throughout the child’s early childhood years growing up. The memory of the traumatic events experienced in early childhood, because the child’s stage of development - are usually deeply repressed, however, the overwhelming unpleasant emotions connected to the events remains alive and disruptive throughout the child’s lifetime. In adulthood, any similar event or situation, to the past repressed traumatic experience, will active the intensity of the overwhelming unpleasant emotions in the present, but not the event or situation that caused it. The adult experiences feeling intensely overwhelmed, and immediately wants to escape the feeling. This may help to explain - the instant intense negative reaction that people express at the idea of welcoming gay people or gay marriage that is followed by their immediate refusal to discuss or provide any validating authoritative data to support their position on the topic. This is, again, because just the idea of gay loving relationships - activates the intensity of the overwhelming traumatic feelings connected to long forgotten early childhood memories that willfully forbade a child’s homosexual or bisexual expression of love.
Surprise
What makes the experience traumatic for the child - is that a child has no adult concept of the meaning of homosexuality. The child is taken by surprise by the rejection of an adult parent, which to a child feels like abandonment, and to a child this is equivalent to an unending death - all for something the child neither understands, nor meant to cause any harm.
It appears that the more severe the traumatic suppression of a child’s homosexual sexual orientation is - during early childhood, the severer the antigay reaction is - as an adult that is projected outward.
Benedict was victimized by the severest and most twisted form early childhood suppression of a child’s sexual orientation that became frozen time. It began when the Nazis deliberately used propaganda to increased the social prejudices against homosexuals. They did this in order to use the “idea” of homosexuality as an effective scapegoat to coverup their removal of the Catholic clergy who openly opposed the Nazi racial policy by falsely accusing them of being homosexuals. The Nazis by publicly denouncing homosexuals, as they did to dehumanize the Jewish people - they were able to distract public attention a way from their - coverups of their implementation of their racial policy.

In Benedict’s case, though not hardly limited to, we can see the lifetime harmful psychological fallout of the Nazis obsessive dehumanization of homosexuals, caused to children during their early childhood years can be far more deadly and lasting endlessly through generations, than the atrocities committed by Hitler and the Nazis. Over time, the past 30 years, it accounts for the similarities in the entrenched corruption in the US Congress and the Roman Curia. Both groups have continued as the Nazis did - to keep demonizing gay people, directly against authoritative data to the contrary - to increase the fear and ignorance that already exists in society, to be able to use gay people as an effective scapegoat - to continue to be used to coverup, to disguise their covert corruption. Of course this is not true of every member of the US Congress or the Roman curia. In fact, we have witnessed some extraordinary courageous stands for gay people, some members have been relentless in this endeavor, this most especially has been true in the USA.
Scapegoating gay people is a very profitable business. There is a lot of big money - depending on the viability of a healthy antigay crusade - to coverup a multitude of crimes of humanity that are connected to the globalization that values profits over people. The Vatican’s unsubstantiated teachings on homosexuality have and continue to played a leading role in supporting this type of global structural violence.

Roman Curia EXPLOITING - Benedict’s Antigay Crusade
However, Benedict’s homophobia has been and continues to be exploited by many of his staff members. Many of the disturbing immature antics that took place for decades are appearing to be happening in full, but obvious, force during this Synod 2015. What the hell is that all about?!? Burke’s trademark is secrecy. It is this type of secrecy that was the cause of all the problems that started for me 2 months after I come out in March 1997.
I am personally aware of the tone of the re-emergence these deceptive antics that began with the letter that I received dated and mailed on the September 17, 2015 regarding my status in the priesthood, which I will be writing about later. It too referred to wanting to set up a time to meet me in secrecy! Clearly, indicating that in some significant way I was perceived as a threat to this Synod 2015. Because I was coming too close to the fact that Benedict was a victim of being exploited by members of the curia and helping to unravel the corruption of the curia? This also includes, their enormous jubilation regarding the gay adult pornography, and the hysteria it would generate in spreading gossip. But fools that they are - it is all backfiring on them, because the gay adult pornography - is shielding light on the massive reaction formation that is pervasive - existing among the Catholic celibate clergy regarding issues of repression of homosexual feelings, as well as, exposing who is involved in the corruption. However, this extreme lack of awareness of the repression of homosexual feelings among the participants of at the Synod 2015, is a lethal liability to 90 % of the world population. Who is on Whose Pay Rolls???
But it is time to bring these psychopathic antics to an end, because they are a lethal liability the human population we are to be serving. They clearly are becoming annoying and angering a number of participants. Cardinal Burke should be removed from the priesthood, including his accomplishes. They have been instrumental in allowing Benedict’s obsessive-compulsive antigay crusade to be exploited in the USA, as political wedge that has led us to the dehumanizing effects of globalization and the disregard for the devastation of climate change.. The continuation of their obsessive antigay crusade, constantly raises the question - in addition, to their regular salaries, whose pay rolls are they on?
Recruitment
It would seem to have seriously effected his recruitment of members of the curia and hierarchy. It would appear he was only interested in choosing members who would be ruthless in removing homosexuals from the Church, because from his perspective of a 6 year old traumatized child, it was the homosexuals who were destroying the Church, instead of the reality that it was Hitler and the Nazis. In his recruitment he would not have been interested in academic achievements or educational backgrounds, only the ability to obey his directives. And more than likely he would not have been interested in anyone who would openly challenge or question his directives.

Low Intellectual and Maturity Levels
This could explain why some of Benedict’s closest friends didn’t work for him or he did not choose them. Over 30 years, this would explain the (1) low intellectual level among the members of the curia and hierarchy, as well as the (2) low level of maturity and childish behavior, e.g. gossiping, name calling, spying, squealing about each others sexual secrets, etc (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/religion/secrets-of-the-vatican/transcript-58/). Of course this not true of all members, as we have been finding out by the public intelligent and compassionate statements made by some of the participants of the synod. However, given Benedict’s international renowned reputation as a theologian and author, including the prestige position he holds in the Vatican - his recruitment would not allure the most reputable applicants, i.e. career seekers, opportunists.
Psychopaths
Hitler’s idea of promoting human violence under the disguise of national salvation attracted psychopaths from all levels of society (http://www.mconway.net/page1/page4/files/Uniqueness%20of%20Nazism.pdf). The same was true for Benedict - with the ruthless severity of his the witch hunt for homosexuals it would have attacked his share of psychopaths, e.g. the Wisconsin boys, - Cardinal Burke and McCarthyism. Weakland, also from Wisconsin, in 1986 raised a red flag along with other prelates, regarding the unwarranted investigation of Archbishop Hunthausen, identifying the staff members of the CDF - the Draconian measures used, by the psychopaths - “amateurs-turned-theologians” the second-rate and repressive mind “riding on the waves of fears” taking over (http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1986-09-28/news/8603120562_1_archbishop-weakland-seattle-archbishop-raymond-hunthausen-seattle-archdiocese).
It appears very clearly that Benedict was exploited by some of the members he choose. It is clear that the psychopath behavior of the curia is not associated to him. He was operating out the traumatized perception of a six year old, who was not psychopathic, but who was terrorized. It appears he trusted a number psychopaths he chose. Because Benedict at times, often appeared genuinely surprised by startling news reports related to dubious activities inside the Vatican that were attributed to him. It seemed that he was upset by the Dino Boffo case and intervened to put a stop to the deception.

New studies suggest those who express virulent dislike of homosexuals may have an unacknowledged attraction to the same sex. Researchers also discovered homophobia is more pronounced in individuals who grew up with authoritarian parents who forbade such desires.
The study is the first to document the role that both parenting and sexual orientation play in the formation of intense and visceral fear of homosexuals, including self-reported homophobic attitudes, discriminatory bias, implicit hostility towards gays, and endorsement of anti-gay policies.
“Individuals who identify as straight but in psychological tests show a strong attraction to the same sex may be threatened by gays and lesbians because homosexuals remind them of similar tendencies within themselves,” said Dr. Netta Weinstein, a lecturer in psychology at the University of Essex and the study’s lead author.

When an internal impulse provokes too much anxiety, the ego may reduce that anxiety by attributing the unwanted impulse to an external object, usually another person. This is the defense mechanism of projection, which can be defined as seeing in others unacceptable feelings or tendencies that actually reside in one’s own unconscious (Freud, 1915/1957b). For example, a man may consistently interpret the actions of older women as attempted seductions. Consciously, the thought of sexual intercourse with older women may be intensely repugnant to him, but buried in his unconscious is a strong erotic attraction to these women. In this example, the young man deludes himself into believing that he has no sexual feelings for older women. Although this projection erases most of his anxiety and guilt, it permits him to maintain a sexual interest in women who remind him of his mother.
An extreme type of projection is paranoia, a mental disorder characterized by powerful delusions of jealousy and persecution. Paranoia is not an inevitable outcome of projection but simply a severe variety of it. According to Freud (1922/1955), a crucial distinction between projection and paranoia is that paranoia is always characterized by repressed homosexual feelings toward the persecutor. Freud believed that the persecutor is inevitably a former friend of the same sex, although sometimes people may transfer their delusions onto a person of the opposite sex. When homosexual impulses become too powerful, persecuted paranoiacs defend themselves by reversing these feelings and then projecting them onto their original object. For men, the transformation proceeds as follows. Instead of saying, “I love him,” the paranoid person says, “I hate him.” Because this also produces too much anxiety, he says, “He hates me.” At this point, the person has disclaimed all responsibility and can say, “I like him fine, but he’s got it in for me.” The central mechanism in all paranoia is projection with accompanying delusions of jealousy and persecution…

Concept. The concept of reaction formation involves converting a socially unacceptable impulse into its opposite. To apply this notion to esteem protection, one may propose the following: People respond to the implication that they have some unacceptable trait by behaving in a way that would show them to have the opposite trait. Insinuations of hostility or intolerance might, for example, be countered with exaggerated efforts to prove oneself a peace-loving or tolerant person.
Evidence. The original ideas about reaction formation pertained to aggressive and sexual impulses, and these are still plausible places for finding defenses, provided that acknowledging those impulses or feelings would damage self-esteem. With sex, there are undoubtedly still cases in which people regard their own potential sexual responses as unacceptable…
A comparable finding with male subjects was recently reported by Adams, Wright, and Lohr (1996). They assessed homophobia and then exposed participants to videotapes depicting homosexual intercourse. Homophobic men reported low levels of sexual arousal, but physiological measures indicated higher levels of sexual response than were found among other participants. Thus, again, the subjective response reported by these participants was the opposite of what their bodies actually indicated. They may be able to block it from their conscious memory, but not entirely, because it will remain alive and active in their unconscious minds. And when it surfaces - it will be projected on to someone else as if it never came from them.
Because, otherwise why would they become so outraged about someone viewing gay adult pornography - unless of course they are familiar with the content and the erotic feelings it evokes . Otherwise, why become so outrage about something they have no knowledge of, this would then be a symptom of a form of mental illness.
But the issue of viewing gay adult pornography goes far more deeper than activating the defense of repression and then projection. The ubiquitous spread of gay adult pornography throughout the Internet and the collective intense self-righteous reactions to it - says something about the truth about homosexuality - sexual orientation.
There is considerably much more to gay adult pornography, and that of all forms of adult pornography, including the display of all types of sexual fetishes than evoking intense erotic feelings. There is a lot to learn about human sexuality and the reasons that leads to the global population accessing of adult pornography, but in particular of gay adult pornography.
The truth appears to be that the sexual orientation of homosexuality is a normal and natural part of human sexual development that is set very early in life either just before birth or very soon after birth. And any attempt to disrupt the natural development of child’s particular sexual orientation - depending the kind and degree of intensity of this disruption - will have lifelong lasting negative effects regarding there ability to love others and to be loved. It negatively effects their ability to form meaningful lifelong and nurturing relationships. There is a real tendency that it will lead to some form of sexual acting out behaviors, such as, though not limited to, viewing adult pornography and the possibility of developing any number of sexual fetishes.

It would be vital to learn, what are the life sustaining harmful effects caused by the varying degrees of the sexual repression of a child’s sexual orientation has on the child for life and how it may impact the lives of others.
In the case of Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Burke the sexual repression of the homosexual orientation was extremely authoritarian and pervasive throughout their years growing up in their social environments. This was especially true for Benedict, as both hostile social environments are historically documented as being heavily influenced with the dehumanizing antigay propaganda of Himmler and McCarthy respectively. The lasting harmful effects from the extreme sexual repression imposed on the early childhood years of both Benedict and Burke have been extremely severe globally on not only gay adults and gay children, but on everyone. Such research, could begin to help us to understand the nature - in how and in what ways gay adult pornography differs from adult heterosexual pornography. When the US conservative evangelical pastor Ted Haggard, well known for his anti-gay preaching, was discovered to have been paying a masseur for gay sex, he explained that "I think I was partially so vehement because of my own war". Freud coined the description "reaction-formation", in which anxiety-generating feelings are masked by an exaggerated reaction in the opposite direction. There is some experimental evidence to back this up, with one study showing that 20% of those who self-described as "highly straight" indicated some level of same-sex attraction. WHAT percent of American men are gay? This question is notoriously difficult to answer. Historical estimates range from about 2 percent to 10 percent.
But somewhere in the exabytes of data that human beings create every day are answers to even the most challenging questions.
Using surveys, social networks, pornographic searches and dating sites, I recently studied evidence on the number of gay men. The data used in this analysis is available in highly aggregated form only and can be downloaded from publicly accessible sites. While none of these data sources are ideal, they combine to tell a consistent story.
At least 5 percent of American men, I estimate, are predominantly attracted to men, and millions of gay men still live, to some degree, in the closet. Gay men are half as likely as straight men to acknowledge their sexuality on social networks. More than one quarter of gay men hide their sexuality from anonymous surveys. The evidence also suggests that a large number of gay men are married to women…
…Additional evidence that suggests that many gay men in intolerant states are deeply in the closet comes from a surprising source: the Google searches of married women. It turns out that wives suspect their husbands of being gay rather frequently. In the United States, of all Google searches that begin “Is my husband...,” the most common word to follow is “gay.” “Gay” is 10 percent more common in such searches than the second-place word, “cheating.” It is 8 times more common than “an alcoholic” and 10 times more common than “depressed.”
Searches questioning a husband’s sexuality are far more common in the least tolerant states. The states with the highest percentage of women asking this question are South Carolina and Louisiana. Abstract
This study compared views on homosexuality among US adults who varied in their consumption of pornography. Nationally representative cross-sectional data generated by the General Social Survey (GSS) between 2000 and 2012 were employed. Pornography consumers expressed more positive attitudes toward gay individuals' civil liberties, more moral acceptance of homosexuality, and more support for same-sex marriage. Moderation analyses indicated the importance of consumers' views on personal freedom and morality. Associations between pornography consumption and positive views on homosexuality were strongest when consumers placed a premium on personal freedom and adopted a relativistic perspective on morality. Mediation analyses indicated that pornography consumption indirectly predicted more positive views on homosexuality through a nontraditional attitude toward sex. Supplementary analysis of nationally representative three-wave GSS panel data confirmed the temporal sequencing of these links. Prior pornography consumption predicted a more positive subsequent attitude toward nontraditional sex, which in turn predicted more positive subsequent views on homosexuality.

The way to begin for us all, not only the NY State Senators, to protect Religious Freedom and not Tyranny in Religion is by obtaining a well-informed conscience. We start by individually approaching and studying in great detail, because it involves the lives of children, from the best and the brightest (1) scripture scholars regarding the references related to homosexuality and (2) scientists in the field of study of human sexuality, in particular, but [not] limited to, the onset of sexual orientation. The prerequisite to the formation of a well-informed conscience is making a thorough study of all sides of the issue from all available authoritative data and research, including opposing views. Then in this way we are better equipped to decide who and what needs government protection in regards to the gay marriage bill. This exhaustive procedure follows to the letter the Gospel quotation about the “plank” and the” speck.”
How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

The “plank” for us is ignorance. If we satisfactorily resolve this ignorance, then together we will be able to see more clearly, whether or not, as NY State Senators (government officials) and as citizens we are colluding with the Catholic Hierarchy and are harming children, as was found to be the case in the Ireland Murphy Report.

How I resolved this situation was through hours upon hours of continuous prayer. Afterwards, I came to the realization that my life had already been altered – changed forever. Because there was no way I could pretend I did not know what I knew, how severely children are harmed for life by the Vatican unsubstantiated antigay teachings and antigay social norms. I decided that I could not live with the regret knowing that I had a chance to make a profound difference for the better for others, most especially children and that I did nothing. My life would be nothing. I took the bungee jump and I came out to my parishioners. It definitely was not easy, but one thing that happened to me is - I gained a real sense of peace and well-being that has remained constant and unshaken. The scripture passages that kept repeating over and over in my head were:

Martin Kurylowicz...said...the struggle would be made harder for many others if the Vatican issues new rules that reportedly would ban gays from becoming priests… “Kids as young as 4 or 5 know they're different," said Kurylowicz... "They grow up with this pervasive guilt, which sabotages their growth and motivation." The result is thousands of dollars in therapy to accept their natural orientation, he said, adding, "Does the Vatican want to take that on, like the tobacco industry had to take on for the damage it caused consumers?”...

Note: Bishop Hurley unethically manipulates canon law misrepresenting my situation: by excluding the factual details of the Vatican’s equally unethical punitive sanctions and threats imposed on me for “coming out” for the protection of children in March 1997, e.g. lost of the possibility of future assignments, regular priest salary and educational benefits, to coerce my compliance to be reeducated - to assure my silence in protecting children or to force me to leave the priesthood. Hurley’s dishonest response to the press was meant to destroy my credibility and reputation. Hurley also disclosed the cost of my psychotherapy sessions, a breach of employer employee confidentially. There are No USA civil laws to protect gay priests from such a fatal destructive public attack on my reputation. The same tactic was used, again in 2012, against Vatican Bank, ex-president Tedeschi, who was attempting to increase the transparency of the scandal-ridden Vatican institution. Hurley’s deliberate distortion of the facts of my situation was meant to humiliate me publicly, a character assassination against me. This was not just one single isolated character assassination attack made against me. The exact pattern of this character assassination attack, since 2004 to 2014 has been over used by the Vatican under Benedict XVI - against anyone - deemed as a threat to their specific ideology, especially related to gay sexual orientation. On, April 30, 2014, Cardinal Muller of the CDF, issued a forceful public statement against the LCWR leaders that is confusing and irrationally based on a misrepresentation of unsubstantiated facts. Cardinal Burke during and after the Synod on the Family, October 2014 - fiercely demonstrated by his unwillingness to even discuss issues related marriage and gay sexual orientation, the pervasive hostile attitude against homosexuality.

I made an appeal to counteract Bishop Hurley’s manipulation of canon law in order to be able to charge me on a technicality “not returning home” by separating it from the situation that caused it after I came out 1997. Letter gives an extensive accounting of my “coming out” situation of 1997 - not separated from Hurley’s charges against me.
