If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily

angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Biden, Pope Francis discuss climate change and global vaccine sharing

VATICAN CITY — President Biden, a devout Catholic who has nonetheless found himself at odds with many faithful over his support of abortion rights, met Friday at the Vatican with Pope Francis, where the leaders discussed climate change, the coronavirus pandemic and global poverty.

The president later said that the pope also expressed support for Biden's continuing to receive Communion despite some U.S. bishops suggesting the president should be denied the Eucharist because of his views on abortion and same-sex marriage, which run counter to mainstream Catholic thought.

The Roman Catholic hierarchy i.e. Cardinal Burke, Chaput, etc., have NO comprehensive

knowledge and focus of the enormity of the global poor and human suffering from hunger, conflict, and persecution. Their understanding of human beings is limited to that of a child having no concept of the fullness of multiple complexity of being human. Where did these religious men (dissociated/repressed homosexuals who are members of the RC hierarchy) learn how to be so cruelly inhuman to other human beings with absolutely no empathy or compassion? They learned it repeatedly during their traumatic early childhood years growing up gay. As very young children who are not developed to have any understanding of what gay means - their one and only focus is to be love. And they are just beginning to learn how to reciprocate that love back to another. And in so innocently attempting to try to do give love back - they are surprisingly most

unexpectedly rebuked from an adult perspective of human sexuality who believes for many possible reasons that being gay is bad or even evil. This child is traumatized out of fear of parental abandonment for a very young this is a fate worst than death. Because a child experiences pain as never ending. This child’s traumatic pain is not acknowledged by the parent. This child is left in unending traumatic pain parental rejection and in confusion of having no clear idea what he she did wrong. A child will tend to try very hard not remember the event, to dissociate from it like it never happen. Though, it is impossible to permanently repress an unpleasant emotion. It will aways resurface and often in a disguised form, further destructively complicating our lives. These dissociated/repressed homosexuals members of the RC hierarchy seem very likely to be mistreating women in regards to abortion in the same inhuman cruel way, completely unaware and

unconcerned about their individuality, their lives and well-being, the degree of the severity and complexity of their life circumstances and in meeting their needs. Even this above statement is an over simplification of women’s situations. The U.S. Supreme Court was and is devastatingly inhuman to completely abandon the women in Texas without any warning. This is the massive corruption of justice in the USA by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The pain we feel by stubbing our toe we know, as adults, that this pain will soon pass and we will be okay. HOWEVER, this is not how a child experiences pain of stubbing his or her toe. A child tends to become overwhelmed believing that the pain will never end. They are urgently in need of the comfort of an empathic caring parent to help the child to modulate the painful emotions, by explaining to the child that the pain will pass and that the child will be okay and will soon begin again to play.

The reason why the majority of the Roman Catholic hierarchy - understanding of human beings is limited to that of a child having no concept of the fullness of the multiple complexity of being human is because they are dissociated/repressed

homosexuals. This means that their psychological development has stagnated. They have not completed the adolescence stage of development. The completeness of the adolescence stage of development involves coming to acceptance and feeling comfortable about one’s sexuality, in order to advance to being an adult. It is at reaching the adult stage of development that one’s focus turns from being inwardly directed on oneself - to being outwardly directed towards connecting and being concern about others.

The majority of the Roman Catholic hierarchy are dissociated/repressed homosexuals, who were taught in their early childhood years to demonize being gay. Even though at that age no child has developed the mental capacity to understand it means to be gay. However, out of overwhelming childhood

confusion and fear of parental abandonment the child will repress and attempt dissociated from the unending pain from whatever gesture that the child’s parents expressed disapproval. This is the beginning of psychological developmental stagnation and what will become the lifelong harmful effects that comes from the traumatic parental disapproval of perceived signs of gay behavior. It is a gay child’s expression of wanting to be close to another human being (to feel as one with another) to the same-sex parent that is often rebuked by the parent. However, in brief, such parental rebukes, no matter how subtle or slight are traumatically experienced by the child and greatly harms the ability to develop empathy.

It may be a little easily to begin to understand why - the enormous contrast that exists between Pope Francis, President Joe Biden and the Roman Catholic hierarchy i.e. Cardinal Burke, Chaput, etc., in the ability see and understand the magnitude and complexity of the human suffering in the world and to have the human empathy to respond generously in meeting the needs of the least among us (Matthew 25:31-46).

Review the AGENDA of the upcoming November 2021 Fall Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and decide whether it was composed by a Child or by a fully functioning Adult? One might be surprised why this Agenda of the U.S. Bishops was not written in crayons.

One of the most globally blatant red flag that firmly validates the fact that the majority of the members of the Roman Catholic hierarchy and clergy are dissociated/repressed homosexuals - is the fact of the complete rejection of any academic working knowledge of the science of the sexual orientation of homosexuality that is combined with their fierce and relentless condemnation of homosexuality - for the past 6 decades. This most irrational Roman Catholic hierarchical group phenomenon (of the complete acceptance of the ignorance of the science of the sexual orientation of homosexuality) has remained globally pervasive among the RC hierarchy and clergy. It is the Vatican’s well established homophobic violence that is solidly contained in the organization culture of the RC hierarchy dissociated/repressed homosexuals. This organization culture is continuously fortified by the symptoms of groupthink that silences individuals from vocalizing any opposing thoughts or ideas for fears of disturbing the perceived unity among the group members, being more worried about losing the acceptance of the group and triggering the group’s retaliation than being faithful to Christ’s words of love.

This situation needs to be understood, as much as is possible, from a child’s perspective.

It is crucial to remember that a child has not developed the capacity to - have the adult understanding of the concept sexuality, much less of the norms of religious and social environmental antigay prejudices. Although, adults often misattributes by way of projection to assume that a child has full understanding of adult concepts.

It is, also ,equally crucial to remember that all the aspects of sexual orientation are functioning 24\7 and they are not under any conscious control - they are under the control of the autonomic nervous system. What this means is that the child who is not loved by parents for being gay - is left in a state of traumatized confusion and fear - being overwhelmingly surprised by the abrupt withdraw of parental love. Because this gay child is completely unaware of intentionally do anything to warrant this devastating destructive break of parental love. Therefore, this child haven't got a clue of how to alter his behavior to prevent this abrupt withdraw of parental love from happening again in the future.

This child, as any child who has been severely abused, out of shear traumatized fear and confusion - this child will be fiercely 24/7 vigilant do anything to regain that parental love and to avoid ever losing it again. Dear Fr. Geoff Farrow,

I have been so saddened by Pope Benedict XVI's cruel words to LGBTQ people around the world, to their parents, families and friends, most ESPECIALLY TO CHILDREN. After reading the accounts of this human travesty, I did not know where to find comfort or hope. And then I thought about your blog. And just like receiving a wonderful Christmas present, sure enough I found the hope and comfort I needed to hear.

I am a priest and a clinical psychologist (MS). And for one of my research projects I chose to do a qualitative research project of the recorded verbal accounts of survivors of the Holocaust, 50 years after the event. It was a difficult research project, because I could not make sense of one of the accounts of the survivors.

For example, one survivor was describing what it was like riding the train to AUSCHWITZ, but he was describing how he was trying to make conversation with a girl on the train. I listened and wrote out this one account almost 30 times but I just was not getting it. I could not understand how this man could be talking about wanting to make conversation with this girl on the same train to AUSCHWITZ!?!

Because I had taught high school religion classes for nearly 20 years, it hit me hard, like a flash of lightning. Instantly, all the pieces came together, so fast. Though this survivor was in his late 60’s when he gave his account of his story on audiotape, he was remembering the events that took place, but naturally they were recounted through the mind of a teenager, the age he was on the train to AUSCHWITZ. That is why the dialogue wasn’t making any sense. I was thinking of him as an old man because the voice on the audiotape was the voice of a 68-year-old. As shocking as a bomb going off, all the different aspects of the psychological developmental stages of a teenager kicked in. I realized only too fully that he was just a young normal teenager on that train!!! And so was the girl he was trying to make conversation, and their moms and dads were there with them!!! There was no way to pretend I did not realize what I discovered. It kept hitting me: this is not some script from a movie or TV miniseries on the Holocaust. No; as much as I wished it were. The reality of this horror hit me all at once, on so many different levels of consciousness: what an unbelievable horror it was!!! How could we treat human beings like this! I remember when the realization of the magnitude of this horror first hit me, like an instant reflex. I threw down the transcript I was holding as if it were a blazing hot poker. It kept hitting me over and over again that this is not a movie script or some kind of play – this really happened! It really happened! Oh, my God, how could this have happened!?!!!

My supervisor told me at the time that I was traumatized by the oral content. Qualitative research is an attempt to understand the complexity of emotions, the kinds of emotions, and the degree of intensity involved. Our emotions are what allow us to connect with other human beings. We identify with the non-verbal quality of emotions more immediately and strongly than with the words used to express them. The non-verbal qualities include tone of voice, eye contact, facial expression, body posture, and gestures, all of which express emotions. Emotions are why we can connect with people through time, across cultures, and individually. It is the expression of human emotions in the arts that makes some works of art timeless, because they continually speak to all people through the ages.

And when I heard what Pope Benedict XVI said about homosexuals and transgendered human beings [rainforest] at Christmas 2008, I felt that same trauma all over again. Because in some way, somehow, he was conveying in a non-verbal manner the horror of the Holocaust, in what appears to be a

traumatized, trance-like accepted social norm from that period of time dictating that some people just don’t count, aren’t important, and can be easily disposed of. And if you rock the boat, you could be next to be disposed of.

I truly have to believe that a person in his position would not be doing this consciously or intentionally. The horror of the Holocaust is like an atomic bomb with fallout so extensive that it spreads over a radius of more than 150 miles. The horror of the Holocaust began in 1933 and ended in 1945. The psychological fallout would have been far more extensive and more deadly, especially when it is not identified as such.

It hit me the way it did when I realized that the research I was doing about a Holocaust survivor, a man 68 years old telling his story, who was remembering what it was like to be on the train to AUSCHWITZ, from the perspective of a young teenage boy who just wanted to talk to a girl. It seemed like the same kind of horror, a tacit assumption that some people don't count and can be disposed of without remorse. Could it be that Benedict XVI is unconsciously repeating Hitler's crime against humanity by taking on a long-accepted social attitude from that period of time?

The question I asked myself was: what would it have been like for someone growing up gay during the Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals 1933 -1945?

What would be the severity of the psychological effects on a boy who grew up to be gay in Germany during the time of Hitler’s NAZI PERSECUTION OF HOMOSEXUALS 1933 -1945? During the Nazi regime, homosexuals were publicly defamed and falsely accused for the major social problems of that time, which was done to incite massive public hatred and hostility directed against homosexuals. Homosexuals were used for medical experiments, physically mutilated, brutally tortured and exterminated.

Would this child, as an adult, in a severe dissociated state of mind from his own homosexual feelings (Harry Stack Sullivan MD, Dissociative Processes, Clinical Studies on Psychiatry (1956)), unconsciously perpetuate the terrifying horror of the insensitivity he had experienced growing up? If he found himself in a position of authority would he recreate the same social and political environment of violence and terror for homosexuals that he experienced, as a child who grew up to be gay, during the NAZI PERSECUTION OF HOMOSEXUALS?

It may help to better understand the after effects of this traumatized gay child, by reviewing what happens to a soldier returning home from fighting on the battlefield and is suffering from the symptoms of PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder). In brief, just for an example - what happens to this soldier after returning home is - if he hears the slamming of a door or a car backfiring - he instantly has a flashback to being back on the battlefield and is re-experiencing, all over again, the same trauma that he originally experienced.

The same appears to be true of this gay abused child, as an adult, that any stimulus, like the slamming of a door is for a soldier suffering from PTSD, i.e. being in the presence of an attractive male, an open discussions about gay marriage, gay blessings, science on homosexuality, viewing photos of nude attractive males etc., evokes a flashback to the traumatic experiences of early childhood regarding being gay. It allows the traumatizing emotional state, but not the event that caused it, to break through the surface of consciousness that which has been buried deep in the unconscious - the early childhood traumatic emotions about being gay is re-experenced (the hysteria), but not any memory of the event of parental abandonment that was the cause of the traumatic emotions related to being gay.

Circularity, however, is not necessarily a single property of an argument, but may depend on (a) whether the argument repeats an earlier claim, (b) whether the repetition occurs within the same line of justification, and (c) whether the claim is properly grounded in agreed-upon information. The experiments reported here examine whether people take these factors into account in their judgments of whether arguments are circular and whether they are reasonable. 1. Introduction

…A common criticism directed at informal arguments is that the arguer has engaged in circular reasoning. In one form of this fallacy, the arguer illicitly uses the conclusion itself (or a closely related proposition) as a crucial piece of support, instead of justifying the conclusion on the basis of agreed-upon facts and reasonable inferences. A convincing argument for conclusion c can’t rest on the prior assumption that c, so something has gone seriously wrong with such an argument. There are, of course, conversations or patterns of thinking that lead back to where they started without being objectionable. A comment of Aimee’s could provoke a dialogue that eventually leads her to make the same comment. Such a conversation might be aimless but not necessarily circular. Circular dialogues or modes of thought are those that involve special patterns of justification.

Circularity is a defect in reasoning because it undermines correct attempts to justify a claim or an action. The psychological study of reasoning should have a natural interest in such patterns of thought, since they may indicate fundamental difficulties people have in constructing and in interpreting everyday discourse. There appears to be no prior empirical research on this topic, however, despite its importance in neighboring fields, such as philosophy and rhetoric. In particular, there is no evidence on how people who are untrained in these fields recognize arguments as circular. As if taken directly from Harry Stack Sullivan M.D. book Clinical Studies on Psychiatry on 'Dissociative Processes': the Vatican’s synod session of 2015 on Family created such incapacitating high amounts of anxiety among the participating members of the

RC hierarchy - regarding the idea of having a continuing second scheduled open discussion on pastorally welcoming gay people and valuing gay lifelong relationships that it caused this event to be canceled that almost immediately greatly reduced the level of anxiety.

This situation was reported in 2015 in the news media that exposed the pervasive level of collective dissociation that exists among the majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy, regarding avoiding knowing the TRUTH - the fact that they are gay.

It is their collective cognitive distortion of their perception of reality that they unconsciously designed

individually (beginning in their early childhood years growing up gay in anti-gay social and religious environments) to securely avoid knowing the TRUTH “so feared” about themselves - that they are homosexuals.

A year earlier - it was reported in the news media how they were collectively highly disturbed of being surprised by the first open gay discussion that was held in the synod session 2014. The fact that it was announced in 2014 that a second open gay discussion was scheduled for the synod session 2015, the following year, is what led to the need to cancel it at the beginning of the synod 2015.

Because having a whole year to anticipate this second open gay discussion that more than likely unconsciously the anxiety of their fear of exposure of being gay, increased to the point causing them to “become incapacitated to function normally” at the synod 2015. And this is what led to the need of canceling the second scheduled open gay discussion.

A homosexual dissociation is a twisted distorted existence that requires an enormous amount of psychological energy to maintain.

Have you ever wonder why some very prominent male public figures, who have been known for making harsh condemning public statements against homosexuality, only to find out later in the news media that these same men were caught engaging in

Dr. Sullivan considers his theory of dissociative processes in understanding how “an important system of the personality is effectively barred from any disturbing influence of personal awareness for a period of years and perhaps for a lifetime.” He explains how even a blatantly obvious issue of a person’s personality, which would be expected to be in that person’s self-awareness, however, it is successfully kept out. How is this possible? Sullivan begins by explaining the dynamics of anxiety, as having an “extraordinarily arresting effect on whatever was about to happen.” So when a disturbing issue is provoked and about to enter into one’s consciousness that person feels anxious. Sullivan states that the anxiety becomes more important than the disturbing issue that has been provoked. It sounds like anxiety can be used like a drug. Because when anxiety is allowed to flood the conscious mind, it preoccupies that person’s attention, and therefore any disturbing issue is blocked out of the person’s awareness. However, over time, if anxiety is allowed to run a person’s life, Sullivan states that it… generally leads to an appallingly uncomfortable life. Take for example, a person to whom any sexual impulse, any movement of lust, is an intolerable ingredient of awareness. Presumably the only discharge of impulse, which concerned lust would occur in sleep or in some other very extraordinary situation. One would expect long stretches of waking life to remain in which the person was in the throes of lust. That would mean, from our standpoint, that he was anxious, and was therefore practically incapable of that application to reality that is necessary in order to carry out complex performances, to realize goals take more than momentary action (Clinical Studies on Psychiatry, 1956, p. 168).

Dissociation

Contradistinction to Anxiety

Dr. Sullivan describes dissociation in contrast to anxiety, because it “does not require disturbance of the contents of consciousness and which does not act as an impediment to the conduct of life in the areas where there is not dissociation…one is more efficient and much nearer happiness, contentment.” Sullivan describes what a person suffers being in a dissociative state by what people say who are recovering from a dissociation state. They report that “... they could now take things easier. Life is less exhausting; it was not so intense; it did not tire them so rapidly per hour (Clinical Studies on Psychiatry, 1956, p. 169)."

To illustrate the processes and effects of dissociation, Sullivan chooses the example of a married man, he calls, Mr. A, who has dissociated from all his thoughts and impulses of being a homosexual. On the surface, this man’s married life is picture prefect, except for his lack of sexual relations with his wife. Although, this man’s homosexual impulses have remained constant and alive from preadolescence to the present, he has been able to successfully totally dissociate from that whole part of his life. What this means is that this man has tremendous anxiety about being a homosexual, which likely began for him, as far back as his pre adolescent years growing up. And the way he has been able not to have his anxiety become overwhelming for him is by not consciously accepting the fact that he is a homosexual. In his mind he would have seamlessly reworked any indication that would lead to the conscious fact that he was a homosexual. It is this process that Sullivan is describing, as dissociation, a level of cognitive sophistication and specificity that is seamless, undetectable consciously

by the person himself.

Process Of Dissociation

How this process of dissociation works is that a person is mentally reworking all perceived information from his surrounding social environment that would lead to the intensely dreaded indication that he was a homosexual. Dr. Sullivan illustrates “what a remarkable performance dissociation is,” by using his example of this married man, Mr. A. Sullivan begins by indicating that Mr. A did have a very happy experience, which was a definite homosexual relationship, in his preadolescent years growing up. However, now, as an adult, Mr. A has successfully dissociated from all conscious memory of this happy experience. Sullivan than describes how Mr. A. would react if he met someone new, Mr. X, as an adult, years later, that vividly resembled this special friend from his past. Mr. X is “the type to activate powerfully an impulse which … would lead to homosexual instances with Mr. A (p 171).” Instead, what happens with Mr. A is he will treat Mr. X “almost as a non-existent entity.” Mr. A will be polite but it will be a reduction of his normal social demeanor. If people notice that Mr. A’s behavior tends to be rather cool towards Mr. X, Mr. A will rationalize it by saying that there is just something about this new person he does not like. Sullivan goes through many examples of how Mr. A will continue to act cool, disinterested,

However, Mr. A in his dissociative state “has anything but data on what he has been doing (p.173),” studying Mr. X’s physical profile, orchestrating to sit across from Mr. X at dinner, even to have a sexual encounter with Mr. X. Sullivan describes,

Thus here is an aspect of the self-organization which frequently appear in the major tendencies. That is, a patient with a dissociated impulse will experience special cognitive distortions about anyone whose combination of positive values horribly moves the patient to integrate his dissociated impulse. These positively valued people are then endowed by the patient with the negative of the feelings that would accompany this integration, so that one literally, suavely, and automatically misidentifies the meaning of such a person. In other words, in order that the dissociated tendency shall never disturb awareness, shall not provoke anxiety – because if it did, one would be anxious so much of the time that one could not do things which are necessary to life---the security system has come to include very elaborate pseudo memories, revery processes, and so on, which amount to a wonderfully thorough piece of fantasy that neatly and very adequately excludes any ordinary ways by which one would become aware of something. You need not marvel too much that such things can be, because our erroneous explanations of things are of the same type, and you know they run very beautifully unless they happen to break down in a particularly distressful situation (Clinical Studies on Psychiatry, 1956, p. 174).

It has always been a nagging puzzling thought about Benedict XVI - being, globally, an undisputed renowned brilliant theologian and scholar, then how is it that on the subject of homosexuality, he is absolutely non-inclusive of the science on homosexuality? It just never made any sense and was always confusing. Until, Pope Francis came on the scene, his overall genuine respect and non-judgmental attitude towards homosexuals, gay people was a most striking drastic break from the Vatican’s pervasive ever condemnation of homosexuality. It was just an, off the cuff remark, his standard of plain human respect that he has for all people inclusive of gay people, however, the contrast was enormous and welcomed globally, like rain falling on a desert!!! I believe that the immediate astounding global reaction surprised Pope Francis as much as it was appreciated by the world. It most likely saved the lives of million of children in their early childhood years growing up gay from the lifelong harmful influence from severe anti-gay remarks.

However, ever since Pope Francis’s arrival on the scene 2013 to the present - the overwhelming unending public contrasting fiercely emotional negative anti-gay reaction (without any supporting substantiating facts) of the members of the RC Hierarchy - had exposed way more factual documented information about who they are then they may have intended to ever reveal. It soon exposed and validated the pervasive homosexual dissociation that exist among the majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy. The constant research from the academic perspectives of history, theology, and psychology to try to understand how the RC Hierarchy came to be dominated (for the past 40 years) by a majority dissociated homosexuals - all led to Benedict XVI and his early childhood years growing up in Nazi Germany. Remember that at this point, it is crucial to adopt and maintain a non-judgmental attitude. Because the villain from this research is not Benedict XVI, he is most tragically the victim many times over. The villain is - the Vatican’s unsubstantiated (the

BREACH - the absence of science) teaching on homosexuality, as is any disrespect that diminishes, even in the slightest, the fact that gay sexual orientation is a normal and natural variation of human sexuality, as created by God!

The processes of dissociation is a distortion of a perceived reality.

But to dissociate from a perceived reality that is already a distortion of reality - is a distortion of another distortion. Truly a most twisted situation.

Such as, the dissociated distortion from the perceived reality that being a homosexual is a social and moral evil that is already a distortion of reality, because in TRUTH - from the foundation of the dialogue between science and religion = being a homosexual is a normal and natural variation of human sexuality, as created by God!

The TRUTH derive from the ongoing dialogue between science and religion regarding gay sexual orientation - is that gay sexual orientation is a normal and natural

variation of human sexuality, as created by God! The notion that gay sexual orientation, gay marriage commitment including gay sexual intimacy is in any way “intrinsically disordered” has no

foundation in the dialogue between science and religion on gay sexual orientation.

Therefore, the perceived reality that being a homosexual is a social and moral evil is a distortion of reality - it is a statement without TRUTH. The meaning of LOVE is significantly altered, because a person who is a homosexual and truly loves someone of the same-sex is taught that that love is evil! And must dispel all notions and expressions of this love for an adopt attitude of “disinterest” a loveless relationship! This is a twisted inhuman, a torturous existence that is completely void of any semblance or qualities of LOVE - of Christ's LOVE!!!

Can it even be imagined Christ loving us with this “disinterest” kind of love? This is not LOVE at all!!! The meaning of LOVE has been so distorted a number of times that it has become to mean the opposite!

specificity that is seamless, undetectable consciously by the person himself. Though, dissociation processes may be undetectable to the person himself - it does not mean his dissociation is undetectable to others.

Benedict XVI’s above passage from his “Caritas in veritate” reads like the most precise psychological account of the double distortions of the dissociation processes of homosexuality, though in a disguised form to him. Benedict so clearly pin points to TRUTH as the remedy to this homosexual dissociation and the restoration of the full meaning of LOVE! Benedict describes how LOVE degenerates without TRUTH to the point that LOVE is so twisted around that it comes to mean the opposite “disinterested” love, which is NO LOVE at all. It is because Benedict writes from a subjective perspective, not an objective perspective from the science on homosexuality that his words most likely are about his personal experience of the distortion of the dissociation processes of homosexuality. And that on some other level he understands the distortion as false and knows the TRUTH about homosexuality that it is not evil in any way because he has experienced the LOVE is real! LOVE in TRUTH

As we reach old age our short term memory decreases and our long term memory increases. This means that we are likely to have trouble remembering what we were doing, saying or thinking a few seconds past but we are likely to have vivid clear memories as far back as being in first grade at around about 7 years old.

Old age is a time we reflect back on our lives take stock and assess how we lived our lives, whether or not we feel satisfied with what we have accomplished with few regrets. If satisfied we will have a sense of integrity and feelings of wisdom. However, this stage is often “one of flux” we alternate between feelings of satisfaction and regret. We rethink through previous conflicts in new ways - desiring an outcome that maintains a sense of integrity (that is being honest and having strong moral principles to admit the truth).

Benedict XVI born 1927, was 80 years old when he wrote Caritas in veritate 2007, 6 years before he retired in 2013, however, it was not published until 2009. Benedict XVI, at the age of 80, to say he lived an extraordinary life is a major gross understatement. Benedict lived the first 18 years of his life through a historical time in Nazi Germany of unprecedented barbarity “the most radical face of modern inhumanity…” For the past nearly 60 years Benedict has been at the top of the leadership of the Catholic Church, 32 years in the top two highest positions of Church authority.

In TRUTH…the LOVE is REAL!

On one level of Benedict’s conscious mind, it seems that Caritas in veritate is a reassessment of his thinking about homosexuality, however, in a disguised form because on another level he remains fully dissociated homosexually. It seems that he even is critical of his own “contingent subjective emotions and opinions” in regards to assessing homosexual love. He seems to have come to the realization that his attempts to rid the Church of homosexuals starting in 1981 had backfired in a massive way having only greatly increased the number of homosexual behavior in the Vatican though closeted. He may have in a dissociated frame of mind still have accepted the science of homosexuality and realized he was wrong and in an enormous way has caused great harm to human development. Benedict’s early childhood traumatizing events is the reason why he is responsible, though unintentionally, for the majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy being dissociated homosexuals. In brief, how it happened:

Benedict most likely, in some aspect of a traumatized state from his early childhood years regarding Hitler’s “immorality trials” falsely accusing Catholic priests of homosexual behavior from a child’s traumatized perspective (flashback): would believed that the immediate way to project the Catholic Church and Catholic clergy from his his childhood memories of the Nazi terrorizing attacks on the Church - was to remove any open displays that could be considered to be approval of homosexual behavior i.e. open gay discussions, theological gay debates, any overt gay ministry, or any gay semblance in a Catholic church, college, university, etc. In 1981, Benedict was in the second most powerful position of Church authority (Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith), to accomplished this monumental task of removing any and all homosexual behavior, he was able from a child’s traumatized perspective (flashback) to recruit an onslaught of an army of only those men who agreed with him of ruthlessly removing every hint of homosexuality. The only RC Prelates who would agree with his view of homosexuality would likely be a mixture of cleric mercenaries, however, it would primarily be ambiguous dissociated homosexuals clergy - looking to become bishops and cardinals (who all suffered from the same lifelong harmful effect of early childhood anti-gay influence though to a much lesser degree than Benedict).

A side note: The probability that Benedict was being exploited would be significantly high. One likely supportive reason for this remark was the alarm in 1986 raised by Archbishop Weakland regarding “the perceived crackdown by Rome on prominent and liberal U.S. Catholic thinkers who question Vatican stands on sexual morality and other issues…” it was not directed at Benedict the Prefect of the CDF, but instead at the “Vatican inquisitors.” Why?

And the problem with being dissociated homosexuals is one of psychological developmental stagnation, because the only way a person advances from the adolescence stage to the adult stage is being accepting and comfortable with one’s sexuality. The majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy being dissociated homosexuals and by their endless anti-gay derogatory statements against gay people is clear they are NOT accepting of their gay sexual orientation. It is the evidence of their developmental stagnation and their immaturity unable to be concerned for other peoples safety and well-being. Speaking Out

In 1977, Archbishop Hunthausen came out in opposition to the "first strike" capability of the Trident nuclear submarine base in Bangor. In a letter sent to priests of the archdiocese, Hunthausen stated that the time was right to support nuclear disarmament, and that the United States appeared to be changing from a defensive to offensive posture in order to strike first in a nuclear war.

A few months later, Hunthausen publicly defended the rights of gays and lesbians in a letter he penned for Catholic Northwest Progress. In the letter, which was reprinted in Seattle Gay News, he noted "the terrible impact that discriminatory patterns in society have upon both the individual and the total community," and that gays and lesbians should be allowed to have an active role in the Christian community.

Both issues raised more than a few eyebrows in the Catholic community, and while some objected to his stance on each matter, others viewed his underlying messages of peace, love, and goodwill as being very Christian indeed. But as Hunthausen became more vocal about these issues, some of the more conservative members of the archdiocese struggled to maintain their support of the archbishop.

Civil Disobedience

Hunthausen was a strong supporter of young people, urging for improved support for Catholic schools. He also sought ways to provide a better Catholic education to underprivileged children. But it was his controversial statements and actions on other issues that garnered the most press.

In 1980, Hunthausen joined 40 national religious leaders in signing a document opposed to draft registration. In 1981, still upset with a nuclear-submarine base practically in his archdiocese's back yard, he referred to Trident as the "Auschwitz of Puget Sound," and urged taxpayers to revolt to protest the buildup of nuclear arms. The following year he went one step further and withheld half of his personal income tax to protest the nuclear arms race.

This did not sit well with the Internal Revenue Service. Hunthausen believed that he had a right to "peacefully disobey certain laws under serious conditions," but the IRS eventually garnished his wages.

Even the some of the most anti-war Catholics were put off by the archbishop's method of direct action, and began speaking out. Hunthausen refused to back down, stating, "The bishop is supposed to speak out on the moral aspect of public questions. That is not only his right, more importantly, it is his duty. He has to make the effort to apply the values of the Gospel to the concrete social situation of his day" (Seattle Post-Intelligencer, March 9, 1982)…

Instead, Benedict’s decisions about homosexuality, are explained better as PTSD flashbacks. Similar to the PTSD flashbacks of a soldier returning home from the battlefield who hears a door slam shut or car backfires he has a flashback to the battlefield re-experiencing all the trauma. For Benedict in 1981 as the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, second to the top position of the Catholic Church, responsible for protecting the Church (a position that he did not want). When the topic of homosexuality came up, he has a childhood traumatizing flashback to Nazi Germany (his battlefield).

So instead of reacting with a fully functioning adult mindset about homosexuality, to respond to the topic of homosexuality he has a flashback to his early childhood years and is now motived by largely unconscious dissociated over the top traumatizing early childhood memories of terrorizing fear of a child. Who, as a child, experienced the Nazis vicious highly publicized attacks on the Catholic Church solely due to homosexual priests that was not the reality of actually what happened. Homosexuality was not even the issue, it was a cover for Hitler's attacking the Church to avoid public outrage. Benedict, as a child, would not have developed the capacity of an adult, to understand the complexity of the Nazis vicious attacks that it was not about homosexuality, but was a retaliation against the anti-nazi outspoken priests. It was primary - a fierce revenge against Pope Pius XI’s 1937 for his encyclical ‘Mit brennender Sorge’ in which he is condemning Nazism. This encyclical was smuggled into Nazi Germany to be read in every Catholic Church on Palm Sunday. This outraged Hitler and Nazi regime (as noted by Ian Kershaw) thus their vicious attacks against the Catholic Church to get back at the Vatican Pope Pius XI. Hitler used “homosexuality” to coverup his deadly attacks on the Catholic Church.

And, in turn, however much Hitler on some occasions claimed to want a respite in the conflict, his own inflammatory comments gave his immediate underlings all the license they needed to turn up the heat in the ‘Church struggle’, confident that they were ‘working towards the Führer’.

Hitler’s impatience with the Churches prompted frequent outbursts of hostility. In early 1937, he was declaring that

‘Christianity was ripe for destruction’ (Untergang), and that the Churches must yield to the ‘primacy of the state’, railing against any compromise with ‘the most horrible institution imaginable’…However, he indicated that at some point in the future Church and state would be separated, the Concordat of 1933 between the Reich and the Vatican dissolved (to provide the regime with a free hand), and the entire force of the Party turned to ‘the destruction of the clerics (Pfaffen)’…

Addressing the Gauleiter in mid-March, Hitler announced that he wanted ‘no ordinary victory’ over the Churches. Either one should keep quiet about an opponent (totschweigen), or slay him (totschlagen), was how he put it. In April, Goebbels reported with satisfaction that the Führer was becoming more radical in the ‘Church Question’, and had approved the start of the ‘immorality trials’ against clergy. The problem with early childhood exposure and or experienced traumatic events is that the memories of such events can be sealed in the unconscious that continue to disrupt the adult-child victims lives - until if these repressed memories are able to be recovered and integrate in the person’s life. ...Besides offering his fellow cardinals a model of how to get transferred to Malta, Cardinal Burke, who loves to drape himself in the trailing yards of crimson silk of the old church's cappa magna, claims to be fighting for the integrity of church teaching in a world that irritates him by now being more sympathetic to homosexuals than to the vanished glory of the cappa magna.

Burke provides a sad example of a churchman who doesn't get or simply overrides the theological wisdom of human experience. By insisting that homosexuality is "intrinsically disordered," he aligns himself with other church leaders who have no clinical or theological basis for making such a judgment. Indeed, he employs a philosophical category that does not fit the human dignity of homosexual men and women.

...We can be thankful to Cardinal Burke for providing us with the contrast needed to see the understanding of human personality that may be the hallmark of Francis' papacy as well as of the synod on the family. The crimson-wrapped Burke is headed for exile on an island, the fate of a faux Napoleon who, thanks to the Peter Principle, has reached the level that matches his ignorance about and fear of homosexuals. In that context, brief remarks by Pope Francis suggesting that he would not judge priests for their sexual orientation, made aboard the papal airplane on the way back from his first foreign trip, to Brazil, resonated through the church. Never veering from church doctrine opposing homosexuality, Francis did strike a more compassionate tone than that of his predecessors, some of whom had largely avoided even saying the more colloquial “gay.”

“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?” Francis told reporters, speaking in Italian but using the English word “gay.”…

dialogue on the topic of homosexuality being inclusive of the science, thus beginning the mending of the BREACH, besides being publicly most welcoming and respectful of gay people, as he is to all people.

It is the constant anti-gay highly emotional headwinds of the majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy that Pope Francis has encountered from the beginning of his papacy in his attempting to start and maintain the open dialogue between science and religion to mend this BREACH regarding homosexuality that so vividly exposed the pervasive number of dissociated/repressed homosexuals existing among the majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy. However, it was Cardinal Burke’s public criticism of Pope Francis, without any factual supporting evidence that he made at the end of the synod 2014, that the “Church under Francis is a ‘ship without a rudder (Oct. 31, 2014)’” it was a huge watershed moment that seemed endless. It was all at once, like a flash of lightening establishing the correct frame of reference that identified on multiple levels the overwhelming psychological developmental stagnation of the majority of the members of the RC Hierarchy. It began to explain the pervasive immature antics revealed in the Vatileaks 2012, i.e. of constant infighting among the curia’s hierarchy, accusing one another of being homosexual, sex scandals etc., including the antics employed at the synod 2014. Pope Francis was and is not anything like a ship without a rudder, he was and is a kind humble mature functioning human being who cares about people, all people and is surrounded by infantile adults closeted in the curia (members of the RC hierarchy - dissociated homosexuals). From many, many news media reporters - it might be said that Pope Francis is rather like - a holy terror on wheels (he even works through his vacations).

Pope Francis, at the beginning of the synod on Family 2014, is the first to safely open doors of dialogue and to encourage respectful open and honest debate. We found that the open discussion of pastorally ‘welcoming gay people’ created fierce emotional, even hostile anti-gay push back by the RC Hierarchy participants to block the open discussion on gay people. However, the RC Hierarchy's anti-gay reaction is fully validating the homosexual - Dissociative Processes by Harry Stack Sullivan, M.D.. And that is the reasoning for the above cautionary words of advice and the reasoning why this material is presented here.
