It grieves me to think that the Vatican’s unsubstantiated antigay teachings are a cover for an unbelievable much deeper kind of corruption than the average Catholic would have ever conceived possible or anyone else for that matter.
The analogies between Benedict XVI, the hierarchy’s child sexual abuse cover-ups and Nixon’s Watergate burglary into the Democratic Head Quarters are phenomenal. Photo
Groupthink
The major component that connects these two groups of people together that may help to explain why there seems to be so many similarities between these two is because they both appear to be victims of the psychological phenomenon known as groupthink. photo
Covert Operations
A real fear is that just like for Nixon - the cover-up had little to do with the Watergate break in, it was to protect their covert operations, covert activities involving the entire US intelligent community, FBI, CIA, Justice, it led everywhere - the extent of it was incredible, is it the same for Benedict XVI and the hierarchy? If it is true it would involve people globally far more extensive than that of Watergate.

How, why and what is the Vatican doing on Wall Street, USA??? Exactly how much money does the Vatican have besides buildings, property and art pieces??? Life In Outer Space???
Benedict XVI removed all the scientists from all the committees in the Vatican immediately after he became pope April 2005. Which were set up by Pope John Paul II so as not to separate science from religion. Then Benedict XVI, later installs scientific equipment, which was reported to study if there is any life in outer space? Really? What was the total price for all this equipment? On the other hand, is it used for other purposes that are connected to satellite activity and the capabilities to study the private activity of specific human beings here on earth? Sounds unbelievable, like fiction, like the Sci-fi “X Files” a TV series in the USA, or the like and I hope it is, but the “chilling effect” is that it may not be just science fiction. It may actually be true that other covert operations have and are happening. But why? What for? And who? Photo
Keeping Up Appearances
It just does not make any sense to attack me. As my friends and family will attest to that I would be the most unlikely kind of person to come out publicly as a “gay Catholic priest.” In truth my personality to a degree regarding proper social decorum and etiquette would more closely resemble the main character of that ofHyacinth Bucket (who insists it is pronounced "Bouquet") in the BBC sitcom “Keeping Up Appearances” played by Patricia Routledge. It sounds humorous but my family will insist that there is nothing humorous about it. This makes it even more unbelievable that I would be considered some significant threat to the Vatican to be targeted or to anyone for that matter. Photo

I am a priest, I have no money, absolutely no political clout or academic standing of any consequence. So, why target me? Why systematically destroy my reputation to make sure that it would be impossible for me to make a living. Why?

Unless it is for the reason that I came out, which was to protect children in the early childhood years who grow up to be gay from lifetime harmful influence caused by the Vatican’s unsubstantiated antigay teachings. The substantiated facts, documentations, and research data regarding sexual orientation had been available in abundance long before I came out in March 1997.
It is possible that campaigns against homosexuals and Marriage Equality (gay marriage) have been a vehicle to convey certain people into political office as well as to maintain cover-ups in the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy regarding decades of child sexual abuse. It grieves me to think that the Vatican’s covert operations to cover-up the child sexual abuse globally is only the tip of their iceberg of corruption to hide more serious covert operations involving an unbelievable number of influential people globally. Yes, it likely involves again unbelievable sums of money. Only full disclosure of a thoroughly independent investigation of the entire Vatican's administration activites would dispel unwarranted doubts, begin to restore credibility, bring comfort to all God's people and insure the safety and well-being of children worldwide. Early Childhood Psychological Development
Growing Up Gay
This seems the most likely the reason to attack me. Again it is not about me – it is this little piece of truth, which sexual orientation begins early in life either just before birth or very soon afterwards. The research data is not mine it has been accumulated by researchers far superior than I, which if I am lucky will have the opportunity to meet. They saved my life!
But what resonates in the peoples’ minds when they read or hear about the early childhood psychological development of growing up gay is the emotional impact of the research data.
I believe it hits them the way it hit me in March 1997 at the New Ways Ministry National Symposium. When Richard Isay, MD gave his address, it was like he was publicly reading out loud my early childhood hurtful memories long forgotten and buried. But as painful as it was for me to remember these episodes, it was healing at the same time. Dr. Isay was making sense of what had happened to me and why. It allowed me to begin (over time) grieving the lost and begin truly living, feeling love and being able to love another. It is this emotional impact of the truth of the research data that resonates so deeply inside of a person that is convincing to people.
Sexual Orientation Continuum
According to the sexual orientation continuum at least better than 90% of the world population have some degree of a homosexual orientation. The same is true that at least better than 90% of the world populations have some degree of a heterosexual orientation. We will save for another time the explanation of the continuum of gender identity, which is equally important to know. I believe this to be true from experience from “coming out” to my parish. To witness a very large group of people go from being upset and disturbed by the news of my being gay and in less than 20 minutes become calm and begin listening. What caused this effect was that when I began speaking I started talking about children as young as 4 and 5 years old know that they are different. Not that they are gay, just different. It is only in their adult years are they able to look back and identify this feeling "different" as being gay. I think that immediately parishioners had flashbacks to their own early childhood years, as like what happened to me with Dr. Isay. And then for the parents in the group, they seemed to fast forward to their own children and then back and forth to episodes in their past to the present. It is this feeling that so many people experienced, but they had no name for it. Giving it a name and an explanation is most healing. Including the knowledge that they have always been loved by God and that it is only ignorance about human sexuality that is so harmful and debilitating throughout a person life time.
What was most surprising to me was the very small number of people who came up to me, who were disturbed but not about my being gay, but why everyone else were so disturbed. They did not get it. They could not identified with what the majority of the people were feeling. My thoughts were that they must have been the only true heterosexuals in the group, part of the less than 10% of the world's population who are heterosexual.
This truth above is not mine and I am only conveying to people what I search out to learn about myself. The real work gathering this research material is the lifetime dedication from the people like Harry Stack Sullivan, MD, Alfred Kinsey ScD, Richard Isay, MD, Jack Drescher, MD, Caitlin Ryan, PhD, Sidney Phillips MD and this list is endless, reads like a litany. These people helped to save my life, as well so many others.
Vaticangate
What is most convincing that there is some kind of cover-up is the fact that Benedict XVI and the hierarchy are unable to give any factual accounting or details from the bible (Galileo) or science for the position they hold against the normalcy of sexual orientation, in particular the homosexual orientation. They are depending on the ignorance of people, which is steadily deceasing in large numbers and will eventually reveal their corruption. So, even if they succeed in silencing me for good that will not change the truth or stop people from learning the truth and finding out their corruption. In fact, it is likely to focus more light on this piece of truth and reveal that there were and are many, many others who have been silenced and are being silenced. Kids Are Being Hurt!!!
