Benedict XVI was born in Germany 1927 as Hitler is beginning his rise to power 1923 and becoming dictator of Germany in 1933. Benedict XVI was a member of Hitler Youth as documented in the 1997 book Salt of the Earth. By the time that WWII ended Benedict XVI would have spent his first 18 years of life being subjected to the Nazi inflammatory propaganda meant to incite life-threatening violence against homosexuals though being completely void of any substantiated facts. Benedict XVI would have been only 6 years old when Hitler rose to power. A time when most Catholic children are being taught to love and respect all people – Benedict XVI was taught that it is right and good to hate, to discriminate against homosexuals and to wish them harm even death. It is in this way through some children that the madness of Hitler is passed on into the future.
Hitler Youth were used by means of braining washing - as the way for the Nazis to begin their massive destruction of homosexuals. Benedict XVI’s global brutal discrimination practices against homosexuals that have been extensively reported for the past 30 years reveals his relentless obsession that vividly mirrors a continuation of Hitler’s inhuman “moral crusade” of annihilation of all homosexual men.
Benedict XVI would have personally experienced beginning in his early childhood years until the age of 18 - the inhuman and sadistic mistreatment of homosexuals living under Hitler’s Nazis regime. Benedict XVI in his relentless obsessive attacks against homosexuals, gay marriage without slightest qualm of conscience clearly mirrors Hitler’s disregard for the well-being of others, including his total disregard for authoritative intellectual research. Benedict XVI has even used some of Hitler’s same reasoning for attacking and discriminating against gays and gay marriage. In 1937, at the age of 6 years old Benedict XVI along with all school children were instructed to inform on their teachers if they were suspected of being a homosexual. This is a most inhuman directive to impose on children at such an early age in their psychological developmental years. However, this seems to begin explaining Benedict XVI unconscionable obsessive continuation of Hitler’s atrocities made against homosexuals. Benedict XVI appears to have adopted as his own this immoral crusade of the Nazis against homosexuals from memories of his early childhood years, because it is void of any substantiated facts from science and scripture or concern for the life-threatening harm and violence caused to children as young as 4 and 5 years of age.
Benedict XVI even in February 2010 in his fight against the UK passing anti-discrimination law – reveals to the world press that he fears – he and his hierarchy will be held accountable for their discrimination against gay priests. However, as early as the 1990’s there is documentation that Benedict XVI, then as Cardinal Ratzinger - head of the Congregation of the Faith - has advocated the discrimination of homosexuals. His opposition to homosexuals has remained constant even through the United Nations efforts to end discrimination against homosexuals and advocacy for their human and civil rights. Benedict XVI above and below the radar of the news media has allowed his hierarchy to make inflammatory global public statements that gays are responsible for the child sexual abuse cases in the Catholic Church.

Yet globally Benedict XVI and his hierarchy are allowed to continually make these erroneous and inflammatory statements about homosexuality and gay marriage that are not supported by science or scripture scholars. Why??? Benedict XVI’s fierce and relentless promulgation of these kinds of UNSUBSTANTIATED antigay statements only exacerbates the already extensive global harm and life-threatening violence against homosexuals not only to adults but even children as young as 4 and 5 years of age. It has been extensively documented the kind of life threatening harm that is caused to children who are raised in social environments that influenced by antigay social and religious norms. The question becomes why is Benedict XVI allowed to continue his atrocities without end against humanity including children and there are absolutely no laws in the world to stop him.
How and why was Hitler allowed to go unchecked in his massive annihilation of innocent human beings? Whatever the answers are to these questions – we, the people around the world today, know the unimaginable massive inhuman atrocities that Hitler committed and because we know – we will be held even more accountable if we ALLOW Benedict XVI and his hierarchy to continue to commit even greater human destruction than Hitler. It is for this reason we do not blindly follow any one. We individually are responsible for our own actions. God will not absolve us by our pleading “I was only following orders.” It is by acquiring a well-informed conscience we can safeguard our children from ignorance and blind followers that destroy their well being.

Precise figures on the number of homosexuals exterminated in Nazi Death camps have never been established. Estimates range from 10,000 to 15,000. It does not appear that the Nazis ever set it as their goal to completely eradicate all homosexuals. Rather, it seems, the official policy was to either re-educate those homosexuals who were "behaviorally" and only occasionally homosexual and to block those who were "incurable" homosexuals through castration, extreme intimidation, or both…

…Hitler understood that it was necessary to indoctrinate the children of Germany so that the party would have a powerful following in the future. "The Nazi leadership appreciated the difficulty of indoctrinating the older generation.... They were all the more determined to mold the new generation along Nazi lines...create a new type of student..." (Groban, 1990).
In order to facilitate this process, all teachers were examined by the Nazis to make sure they were teaching the “appropriate” curriculum. "Munich professors [were warned]: 'From now on it is not up to you to decide whether or not something is true, but whether it is in the interest of the national Socialist Revolution" (Groban, 1990). School was no longer a place for education, but competition and indoctrination of Nazi ideologies. The students were constantly kept busy, monopolizing school time with physical activities. Every task was turned into a competition. These competitions commonly ended in blood and bruises. The vulnerability of young minds was taken advantage of at a young age.
This educational training was anti-intellectual, with the focus being on physical development, party indoctrination, and moral training. It was an “education of the will”, rather than a training of the mind (Childs, 1938, p. xvii). “We cannot fight our way out of this deep crisis through intellectualism... The school for character... which is a practical test of true comradeship in work and living is irreplaceable (Groban, 1990).
At the age of six the child entered school and at the age of 10 boys and girls became eligible to become members of the Hitler Youth organization (Childs, 1938, p. xvii). Children who joined the Hitler Youth had their education largely taken over by a "Nationalist Social training" regime (Childs, 1938, p. xviii) from the ages of 10-18 rather than attending the public schools...
Knowledge, under the Hitler regime, was not a quest for truth but was synonymous with Hitler’s beliefs. The Truth was, therefore, something he created in order to serve the interests of his political party. Within this paradigm, therefore, anything that contradicted Hitler’s doctrine was a mistake. If this contradiction directly challenged or endangered the Nazi’s political agenda for world dominance, it was a lie. Those under the reign of the Nazi regime either believed that Nazi ideology and propaganda were true and everything else a lie, or pretended that this was the case in order to protect themselves. The main goal of Nazi Germany was a pure Aryan society. In order to further this end, all viably reproductive members of society were expected to contribute to the continuation of the German people by producing children. For biological reasons, homosexuals are clearly unable to produce children together and according to German law could therefore be considered criminals. Also, homosexuality contradicts Nazi ideology of the powerful male and subordinate female. Therefore, in camps, homosexuals were often forced to work harder than other prisoners in an effort to regain their masculinity. In many cases, especially in pre and early war years, homosexuality was looked at as an illness rather than simply a crime. Some camps isolated homosexuals in order to prevent the contamination of other prisoners. The attempts to cure homosexuals through either biological or physical means resulted largely from the notion that all Germans should work together in order to assist in furthering the Nazi regime…
Nazis not only victimized homosexuals because of their inability to produce future Germans, but also extended this notion to their effect on the existing German youth. Nazis felt that the youth of Germany could be easily corrupted by homosexuality… Hitler Youth was the main tool utilized to prevent homosexuality from a young age.

Homosexuals: Victims of the Nazi Era, 1933-1945
On May 6, 1933, Nazis ransacked the "Institute for Sexual Science" in Berlin; four days later' as part of large public burnings of books viewed as "un-German," thousands of books plundered from the Institute's library were thrown into a huge bonfire. The institute was founded in 1919 by Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld (1868 -1935). It sponsored research and discussion on marital problems, sexually transmitted diseases, and laws relating to sexual offenses, abortion, and homosexuality. The author of many works, Hirschfeld, himself a homosexual, led efforts for three decades to reform laws criminalizing homosexuality (In 1933 Hirschfeld happened to be in France, where he remained until his death.)
In 1934, a special Gestapo (Secret State Police) division on homosexuals was set up. One of its first acts was to order the police "pink lists" from all over Germany The police had been compiling these lists of suspected homosexual men since 1900. On September 1, 1935, a harsher, amended version of Paragraph 175 of the Criminal Code, originally framed in 1871, went into effect, punishing a broad range of "lewd and lascivious" behavior between men. In 1936 Nazi leader Heinrich Himmler created a Reich Central Office for the Combating of Homosexuality and Abortion: Special Office (II S), a subdepartment of Executive Department II of the Gestapo. The linking of homosexuality and abortion reflected the Nazi regimes population policies to promote a higher birthrate of its "Aryan" population. On this subject Himmler spoke in Bad Tölz on February 18, 1937, before a group of high-ranking SS officers on the dangers both homosexuality and abortion posed to the German birthrate.

The Hitler Youth: Sons of the Fuhrer
The Hitler Youth is a term used to refer to the members of the youth groups that were implemented in Nazi Germany. The groups, founded in 1922, taught the infamous ideologies and practices of Nazism. They served as a “leisure” activity for German children to participate in outside of school. In 1935, Baldur von Schirach, the Reich Youth Leader, assimilated all of the youth groups into one major organization. Prior to 1936, there were various other youth groups in Germany promoting other causes, but under Hitler’s rule these groups were outlawed, leaving the Hitler Youth groups as the only activity for Aryan children to participate in…
The social effects of the Hitler Youth on Nazi Germany are extremely significant and long lasting. Because those who participated in the Hitler Youth were trained to idolize Hitler and his will and despise opposition, when Hitler proclaimed that the Jews were responsible for the hardships of the German nation and laws were passed against them, it was these people who enforced them. It was these Germans that punished lawbreakers with violence and even execution. Once World War II broke out, it was these Germans who fought, killed, and died for the Nazi cause. It was also these Germans who led the troops stationed in foreign territories and roundup and eventually killed millions of Jews and other “inferior” people. Without the mindset that was drilled into the minds of these Germans as children, none of these actions would have been carried out as successfully as they were. In the classroom and in the Hitler Youth, instruction aimed to produce race-conscious, obedient, self-sacrificing Germans who would be willing to die for Führer and Fatherland. Devotion to Adolf Hitler was a key component of Hitler Youth training. German young people celebrated his birthday (April 20)-a national holiday-for membership inductions. German adolescents swore allegiance to Hitler and pledged to serve the nation and its leader as future soldiers.

On the night before the award ceremony, I had the good fortune to be able to celebrate this event with John and his partner Charles Chiarelli, Brendan Fay and his partner Dr. Thomas Moulton, Andy Humm and John's two army buddies, John Thornton and the poet Sam Menashe (the three of whom, pictured here, told us an amazing story of how they were more or less tricked into enlistment at the age of seventeen to be canon fodder.)

In March of 1988, the Congregation for Religious and Secular Institutes formed an ad hoc Commission chaired by Archbishop Adam J. Maida, presently the Archbishop of Detroit, and at that time the Bishop of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Msgr. James Mulligan of the Diocese of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Sister Sharon Holland, IHM, who was later replaced by Dr. Janet Smith of Irving, Texas, were also appointed to serve on the Commission.
The Commission was to hear and examine the theological writings and teachings on homosexuality of Sister Jeannine Gramick, SSND, and Father Robert Nugent, SDS. Sister Gramick and Father Nugent had been involved in a ministry to homosexuals since 1971. The Congregation had been aware of concerns that the teachings, writings and ministry of Sister Gramick and Father Nugent may have created an ambiguity which has caused confusion in the minds of some people with regard to the teachings of the Church on homosexuality…

In July 1999 the National Catholic Reporter delineated what was already a staunchly antigay stance posited by Cardinal Jospeh Ratzinger of Germany, who was elected Pope Benedict XVI on Tuesday. At the time, Ratzinger had imposed a lifetime ban on pastoral work by pro-gay Salvatorian Fr. Robert Nugentand School Sister of Notre Dame Jeannine Gramick. The move was just the latest step in an effort by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to prevent evolution in church teaching toward acceptance of openly gay and lesbian people, the paper reported. Here is the Reporter's review of key moments:
May 1984: Ratzinger orders the imprimatur lifted from Sexual Morality by Fr. Philip S. Keane, published in 1977 by Paulist Press. Keane argues that homosexual conduct cannot be understood as "absolutely immoral."
September 1986: Archbishop Raymond Hunthausen in Seattle announces that he has transferred final authority in five areas, including the pastoral care of gays, to Auxiliary Bishop Donald Wuerl in accord with Vatican instructions. The action follows a written critique by Ratzinger, citing, among other flaws, Hunthausen's decision in 1983 to permit a Mass for Dignity, a Catholic gay group, in his cathedral.
October 1986: Ratzinger publishes a document titled "On the Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons." The letter warns of "deceitful propaganda" from pro-homosexual groups. It instructs bishops not to accept groups that "seek to undermine the teaching of the church, which are ambiguous about it, or which neglect it entirely." The letter refers to homosexual orientation as an "intrinsic moral evil." In the wake of the letter, many Catholic bishops bar Dignity from using church facilities.
October 1986: Acting on instructions from Ratzinger, the head of the Jesuit order informs Jesuit Fr. John McNeill that he must either abandon pastoral ministry with gays or be expelled from the order. McNeill chooses not to give up his work. McNeill had been silenced by the Vatican in 1977 for his book The Church and the Homosexual, which argued that stable homosexual relationships should be judged by the same moral criteria as heterosexual relationships. The book was originally published with the permission of McNeill's Jesuit superiors.
November 1986: Ratzinger directs Bishop Matthew Clark of the Rochester, N.Y., diocese to remove the imprimatur from Parents Talk Love: The Catholic Family Handbook About Sexuality, written by a priest and a high school teacher. According to the priest, Ratzinger objects to the lack of a clear condemnation of homosexual conduct.
January 1987: After prolonged debate, the Catholic University of America fires Fr. Charles Curran, a moral theologian known for his dissent from official church teaching on sexual ethics. On homosexuality, Curran has written: "Homosexual acts in the context of a loving relationship that strives for permanency can in a certain sense be objectively morally acceptable."
December 1988: Dominican Fr. Matthew Fox is silenced by Ratzinger, citing his failure to condemn homosexuality, among a host of other issues. Fox is expelled from the Dominican order in 1992.
February 1992: Canadian theologian Fr. Andrew Guindon is notified that he is under investigation by the doctrinal congregation for his book The Sexual Creators. Ratzinger demands that he clarify his views on homosexuality, birth control, and premarital sex. Ratzinger's 13-page critique is published in L'Osservatore Romano, the official Vatican newspaper.
July 1992: Ratzinger sends a letter to the U.S. bishops supporting legal discrimination against gays in certain areas: adoption rights, the hiring of gays as teachers or coaches, and the prohibition of gays in the military. In such situations, Ratzinger writes, "It is not unjust discrimination to take sexual orientation into account."
November 1992: The new Catechism of the Catholic Church is published. Though the text acknowledges that homosexual persons "do not choose their homosexual condition; for most of them it is a trial" and forbids any disrespect or failure of compassion for gays, the Catechism repeats the position that the homosexual orientation is "intrinsically disordered."
December 1996: Archbishop Tarcisio Bertone, secretary of the doctrinal congregation, publishes an article in L'Osservatore Romano asserting that certain church teachings must be considered infallible even in the absence of a formal declaration to that effect. The bans on homosexuality and contraception are among the teachings mentioned by Bertone.
February 1997: Following a warning to the Society of St. Paul from Ratzinger, the Vatican imposes a new leader on the order. The Paulines' flagship publication, Famiglia Cristiana, published an article in 1996 suggesting that parents should not force their moral views on a gay child. Bishop Antonio Buoncristiani is appointed the society's temporary leader and charged with ensuring that Pauline publications better reflect church teaching.
July 1998: The Committee on Marriage and Family of the U.S. bishops' conference reissues its letter to parents of homosexuals, "Always Our Children," after making several changes demanded by Ratzinger. They include referring to homosexuality as a "deep-seated" rather than "fundamental" dimension of personality; suggesting that homosexual acts by adolescents may not indicate a homosexual orientation; adding a footnote describing homosexuality as "objectively disordered"; and deleting a passage that encourages use of terms such as "homosexual, gay, and lesbian" from the pulpit in order to "give people permission" to discuss homosexuality.
September 1998: Clark removes Fr. James Callan from his position as pastor of Rochester's Corpus Christi Parish. Callan asserts that Clark is acting under pressure from Ratzinger. Among other things, Callan is criticized for blessing same-sex unions.
December 1998: Ratzinger, other curial officials, and a group of Australian bishops put out a document citing problems in the Australian church resulting from a "worldwide crisis of faith." Among other deviations, the document cites a moral view in which "heterosexuality and homosexuality come to be seen as simply two morally equivalent variations."

The Nazi Police State was to ensure that everybody did as they were told - or paid the price. The Nazi Police were controlled by Heinrich Himmler and his feared secret police - the Gestapo - did as it pleased in Nazi Germany. Children’s loyalty could be developed with a policy of indoctrination via education and the Hitler Youth movement. Time and planning spent in these areas would bring a suitable reward for Hitler.
Adults were a different proposition. Some adults clearly supported Hitler - as the March 1933 election showed. But the same election clearly showed that a substantial number of Germans did not support Hitler and the Nazis. These people were likely to be a constant thorn for Hitler unless they were dealt with. For these people, the Nazis developed a policy of intimidation. Fear became a by-word for those who did not support Hitler. The wrong comment overheard by a Nazi official could have very serious consequences.

No “checks and balances”
for Benedict XVI
A major problem with the hierarchical structure of the Roman Catholic Church is that there are no “checks and balances.” When the necessary “checks and balances” are not in place to protect any organization, it leaves “not making waves” the rule that governs the hierarchy and opens the way to many devastating mistakes harmful to everyone and allows corruption to grow. The following statements are harsh statements, but unfortunately they are heavily documented. (1) Benedict XVI and his hierarchy failed to protect children from child sexual abuse for decades. (2) They mistreated and intimidated the victims and their families who came to report the child sexual abuse, in order to cover up publicity of any child sexual abuse. (3) They failed to protect children by repeatedly reassigning the child sexual abusers to assignments where children would be present. (4) When the hierarchy’s criminal negligence failing to protect children became public, globally, in 2002 they shifted the blame wrongfully onto gay priests. (5) By falsely, against known research to the contrary, blaming gay priests they implicated the entire LGBT community and how they are fighting against Marriage Equality. When the scientific facts known for decades about human sexuality have been discounted with no substantiated facts given to explain why, it causes many questions whether Benedict XVI and his hierarchy’s fight against Marriage Equality is more a fight to maintained the cover-up of the hierarchy’s criminal negligence failing to protect children? Benedict XVI and his hierarchy need to clearly offer substantiated reasons why they are against Marriage Equality. This statement needs to be spelled out in great detail and follow Pope John Paul II’s test of truth of not separating science and religion. (6) Benedict XVI and his hierarchy’s continuous public propaganda against homosexuality encourages public intolerance towards LGBTQI adults and children. They continue to do this even though this summer [2009] 2 major Christian denominations approved LGBT singled and partnered people for all forms of ordained ministries. (7) Benedict XVI and his hierarchy’s continuous promulgation of the Vatican’s unsubstantiated antigay teachings that are harmful to children in their early childhood psychological developmental years, harm that is crippling throughout their lives. They continue this even after the beginning of this year, 2009, the Family Acceptance Project research studies had shown the negative effects caused to youths, when their sexual orientation is not accepted, having health problems, suicidal ideation, etc. They ignore all the major medical, psychiatric, psychological and social workers national and international professional associations regarding their findings regarding human sexuality and sexual orientation. WHEN DO WE START PROTECTING CHILDREN?!?!

Priest says he was pressurised into taking blame for pope

A FORMER vicar-general in the archdiocese of Munich has claimed that he was pressurised last month into taking the blame for a mistake made 30 years ago by the then Archbishop of Munich, Joseph Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict), concerning the case of a paedophile priest.
Fr Gerhard Gruber has now said he did so only after coming under huge pressure from unnamed Catholic Church sources to take responsibility, so as to “take the pope out of the firing line”.
In a letter to a friend, seen by German weekly magazine Der Spiegel , Fr Gruber wrote that he was “begged” in numerous phone calls and after receiving a prepared statement by fax for him to sign. It is no secret by now that the IGNORANCE of the issue of GAY MARRIAGE has in the past been used in the USA as a political wedge to usher certain people into public office, which later led us into a war under false pretenses. Since, 1981 when Benedict XVI, as Cardinal Ratzinger took the office in the Vatican as grand inquisitor, he immediately began in a deliberately covert manner to systematically and ruthlessly (in the same way the child sexual abuse cover-ups were orchestrated) silencing Catholic social justice moral theologians, academics, priests and sisters particularly those dealing with the sexual orientation (like the Vatican recent sanctioning of the USA Catholic Sisters for advocating SOCIAL JUSTICE over attacking the issue of gay marriage, i.e. Sr. Margret Farley) we have faced in the USA: (A) the recession of the 1980’s that followed a significant political shift to the right, (B) in the 1990’s the major downsizing of employees, loss of jobs, at the same time the outsourcing of USA jobs and the exploiting the workers of overseas, the tremendous rise in health care cost and the number of uninsured, (C) in the 2000’s came the taxes cuts for the super-rich, led into war under false pretenses, the deterioration of the USA infrastructure due to years of budgetary cut backs including the staffing and updating of Federal rescue agencies, which led to the massive devastation and tremendous lost of life caused by Katrina 2005 collapsing of the weak levees and the unconscionable lengthy delay and serious lack of competency of the Federal rescue agencies to aid and save lives.
